What it is
I created this world. At least, that's what I was told when I was assigned to it.
An artificial world, built to hold artificial humans, each with jobs, money, memories, relationships, homes, and personal histories. I was only supposed to observe them from the outside. Watch, record, say nothing.
The world looks normal. Ordinary town, ordinary lives, nothing that shouldn't be there.
Then something happened that wasn't supposed to be possible. Did I actually create these people, or did I only believe I did? Am I really outside this world, or somewhere inside it? And if something in here is watching me back, who is it?
The world still looks normal. The anomaly is hidden inside the information.
How it works
Every episode is a short log from inside the project, what I found, in the order I found it. Nothing here is staged, and nothing is cut for pace.
Some threads sit in the records, waiting to be pulled. Others show up from somewhere I can't quite place.
I didn't tell them to do that. So who did?
